Khoj Resort brought contemporary design to Skardu: stone-and-timber suites stepped up a hillside outside town, big glass to the valley, and a kitchen that takes Balti ingredients seriously. Rates run roughly PKR 35,000–70,000. It's the strongest modern-build option in the Skardu bowl for travellers who want fort history by day and floor heating by night.
The property understands its landscape — local stone, flat roofs, apricot trees kept in the courtyards — and the suites' glass walls put Skardu's evening light where it belongs. Service is boutique-scale attentive in a way big resorts here can't match.
